Foot Print Butterfly- art/craft for preschool or early elementary

Submitted by Kristine S.

Use a paintbrush on the child’s foot to apply the paint color(s) that you would like.  Firmly press the child’s foot onto paper.  Do the same with the other foot.  Place feet so that they will form the shape of a butterfly’s wings.  Once the paint dries, use black paint and use the child’s thumb to make the body of the butterfly.

Cut out around the paint and glue onto a background color.  Add an inspirational saying.  This can be framed and makes a great gift.
