Earth Day- crayon resist art lesson

Submitted by Gina B.

First, the students trace a land pattern on their earth.  Using something heavy like tag board is recommended.

The students then should color the land with crayon. Encourage them to press hard when coloring for the best results. Outlining with a dark crayon also looks nice.  Once the coloring is finished, the students are ready to paint the water .

These are the patterns I use.
