Symmetrical Hearts- Valentine’s art project for intermediate or upper elementary

-You will need a sheet of colored construction paper cut into a perfect square.

- With a ruler, and a pencil, make diagonals. See picture at right.

-Students make various heart designs with pieces of colored construction paper.  Using the diagonals to guide them, the design should be  symmetrical.
