Students write a paragraph about themselves giving clues. They draw a picture to go along with their paragraph.
An example- I am a 9 year old girl. I have brown hair an green eyes. My favorite subject in school is math. I have 2 brothers and no sisters. I also have a cat. I live in a yellow house near the movie theater. When I grow up, I want to be a nurse like my mom. Who am I?
I read these out loud and the students love to guess who wrote it!
Older students would be expected to write more elaborate paragraphs.
